FIFA 23 is basically EA’s last hurrah before moving on from the FIFA name, and honestly, it’s a solid send-off. Gameplay feels smoother, with HyperMotion2 actually making a difference—animations are cleaner, and player movements feel more natural. But let’s be real, it’s still FIFA, which means you’ll have those classic moments of ridiculous AI defending and last-minute scripted goals that make you want to throw your controller.
Career Mode’s had some tweaks, Ultimate Team’s got more ways to burn your time (and possibly your wallet), and women’s club teams finally got some love. It’s not a revolution, but if you’re a FIFA fan, you’ll appreciate the refinements. If you’re sick of EA’s formula, though, this won’t change your mind.
